My First Adult Endocrinologist Appointment, AKA Quarter-life Crisis

Text

do you ever just have that moment of panic after you leave the house that you’ve forgotten something terribly important, so you of course pat your side to make sure you didn’t forget your pump? and then you feel kinda calm because nothing could really be that much worse than forgetting your pump, and you at least you know you have that. cause I mean forgetting your chapstick blows and makes for an uncomfortable evening, but it beats forgetting your pump and risking death and DKA and vomiting in your friend’s car.

nomadic-mantra:

If you’ve ever doubted yourself, walk deep into any forest. Notice how the trees still stand even though they are given no recognition. Walk along any stream. The water still flows, though no one stops to praise it. Watch the stars late at night; they shine without acknowledgment. Humans are just the same. We are made out of the same elements as these beautiful wonders. Always remember your beauty and self worth.
